They claim to be from BT/Open Reach but if you look deeper, they’re not connected. Really annoying lot, wouldn’t accept no for an answer and just kept hassling me. Best to steer clear!

So it seems like they're calling themselves "Think It Simple Wholesale", but really they're Think Telecom. They promise business phone line deals, and are pretty pushy about it. The prices they mention are nearly half off. They're located in Maidstone, Kent and have a website too.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from BT, told them I wasn’t interested and only deal straight with BT, then ended the call. The woman rang back saying we'd been cut off and kept trying her scam. I told her I wasn’t interested and she said she didn’t think I’d speak to her like that, so I hung up again. Now just waiting for her to ring back - I’m all set for her next call.

Someone said they were from OpenReach’s business division. They even knew my name and roughly what I was paying each month. That felt really dodgy!!! I checked with BT and they said it was definitely a scam.

They claimed to be from BT, but when I asked if they really were, the guy just talked over me. I asked to speak to his manager, then the call just went dead. I hung up and then got two more calls that were completely silent. After that I told them I’d report the number to British Telecom. Haven’t heard from them since. Definitely suspicious, be careful!

Got a really persistent woman from Think Telecom ringing me up saying I had some business phone line, which I definitely don’t. She kept going on about how she could save me loads on my bill, but I told her it’s just my home, not a business, and I’m not interested. Had to repeat myself a few times before she finally got it. We’re on the TPS, so I shouldn’t even be getting these calls. Had to block them now.

This was a total scam pretending to be BT, but it was so easy to see it wasn’t legit! So annoying! Can’t believe they actually think people will fall for this! I’ve blocked the number. There’s a company in the UK called Think Telecom claiming to be BT or Openreach, pushing you to move your contract over to them. It’s pretty deceptive. Best to report them straight away to OfCom, who, no shock, are well aware of these types!

Got a call earlier, was bounced between two folks who had some really poor script going on. They claimed to know everything about my plan and said I was overpaying. Got a rapid-fire call claiming to be from BT or Open Reach (talking so quick I barely caught anything). They had my name, number, and even my local exchange info - not hard info to dig up, tbh. I've filed a complaint with the ICO via CTPS. Seriously, everyone should do this too, as if no one complains, these companies won’t face any consequences (and nowadays the fines can be pretty hefty!).

They go by the name think tank, say they deal with wholesale phone and broadband. Chattered nonstop but had no clue beyond his set spiel. Rambled about Openreach sending my info to BT for billing, totally clueless about how phone or broadband billing actually works, and figured neither would the folks he’s ringing. Stay clear of them!

Think Telecom are absolute frauds! The bloke started his usual sales spiel and I told him straight we’re on the CTPS list so he shouldn’t be ringing us. Then he had the cheek to say they’re allowed ‘cause it’s a government thing. I was fuming and just told him where to go before slamming the phone down. Now I’m about to file a complaint with OFCOM.

Looks like Telecom scammers again. They rang me twice today, but since I’d dealt with them before, I’ve blocked the number now.

Think Telecom is a proper professional outfit. I’ve been with them for a few months after leaving BT and honestly, all I’ve got are good things to say. They actually deliver on what they promise, which is refreshing.

I recently rang up my hair salon, and while the chap on the line appeared rather persuasive, it turned out that he was merely a trainee. They really do rattle off words at a speedy pace! When I mentioned that I didn't possess a bill since they’ve only been in operation for three weeks, the lady on the other end told me they couldn't assist and promptly cut the conversation short. Absolutely ridiculous! 😂😂😂😂 Clearly a bunch of fraudsters!

Received a call today from someone claiming to be from BT, looking to chat with the person responsible for the bill. Quite amusing, really, as you'd think they’d already have that information to hand. I mentioned I’d ring them back, but they seemed rather insistent. I had to firmly request that they refrain from calling again since I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service.

Got a call from someone saying they were from BT Openreach offering a better deal with BT. They said BT is only for retail clients and I needed to switch. First I spoke to a guy named Callum, then they passed me to a woman who talked faster than I could keep up with. I told them I'd ring BT myself to check the number and that I wouldn't make any changes unless I contacted BT Business directly. She just hung up on me! It's pretty straightforward. No matter what they say, if I'm a business and want to change my contract, I'll be the one making the call. Total scam.

Think Telecom - just the usual quick chattter full of buzzwords. When I asked what the call was actually for, he just repeated the same spiel. I said we don’t decide things on the phone and to send any supposed 40% savings in a clear written offer. Then he started speaking even quicker and I ended the call. Stay clear.

We get calls now and then from Think Telecom, or whatever name they’re going by these days. Sometimes they talk about fake stuff like line rental charges, or mention new phone lines being put in our road. They’re proper sneaky - wouldn’t have the guts to say all that rubbish if they had to make eye contact.

I received a call from a woman named Thea who claimed she could slash my phone bill by 40 to 50 percent, insisting that BT was billing me at an inflated retail price rather than the proper rate for my phone line and broadband. She then handed me over to another chap who announced that Thea was merely a trainee. I found the entire situation rather suspicious and requested that they ring me back the next day for further clarification. After researching the number, I discovered it was a scam.

I received a rather intriguing call where they supposedly threw in a hefty 40% off my bill. The chap who rang was named Conor, though he seemed a bit green and ended up passing me over to Jacky. She started probing me with questions, and I couldn’t help but retort that if she truly represented BT, surely she'd have the answers at her fingertips. Shortly after, she cut the line. Quite the experience!

Got a call at my work asking for the BT Account Holder. I told them we don’t have an account with BT. Then they asked who we’re actually with, sounded like they was trying to fish for info. So I just said “not BT” and they just dropped the call. Bit odd if you ask me.

Proper pain, this bloke kept on pushing me to switch to Think Telecom to cut my BT bill by half. He was guessing all sorts - felt dodgy, like a scam. I made sure not to spill any info. When I said, "Cheers for calling but I’m not interested," he just sped up his chatter and got even more pushy as I was hanging up!

Just like others have said, 'Callum' rang me up asking if I was the BT account holder. When I asked which company he was with, he said Think Telecom and swore he wasn’t trying to sell me anything (yeah, right). I then asked what exactly his company does, and he told me I was making HIS life hard. Eventually, he said they’re wholesale. I kept telling him I wasn’t interested but he kept pressing why, so I just said ‘Goodbye’ and ended the call. Why do they reckon people fall for that sort of approach?

03333207276 - Dodgy call, a woman told me I needed to switch to some kind of wholesale business plan because apparently my BT rate was wrong. I told her to take me off their list, but she kept pushing some "government incentive" rubbish. When I brought up GDPR, she just cut me off. I received a staggering 47 calls from this number yesterday, and quite a few more from various mobiles. Now it seems the barrage has kicked off again today. The caller, claiming to be from the High Court Enforcement Agency, insisted that I transfer £4,500 into a bank account immediately to prevent bailiffs from showing up right on my doorstep. This morning, I flipped the script on them and have been bombarding them with calls, hanging up as soon as they pick up. I've also sent 24 blank texts their way, just for good measure. The last text I fired off simply read ‘muppets’.

Had the same thing happen. A lady called saying they were wholesalers, not selling anything. I told her I’ve already got a contract with BT. I thanked her, told her not to ring again and said I'd block the number. Then a bloke phoned right after from a hidden number. Same nonsense. I think they knew I was too kind to the first caller. I just hung up on him.

I think they said they were Sync Telecom or something like that, offering a wholesale tariff for my BT line. I don’t usually agree to anything from cold calls, so I just told them I wasn’t keen. The guy seemed quite polite, but when he said it wasn’t a sales call, I could tell he was fibbing.

Today I got a call from 03333207276. The bloke on the phone wanted to chat to whoever holds the BT account. First, he claimed he was from BT, then switched to saying he was with Openreach. Afterwards, I blocked the number 03333207276 so I don't get hassled by them again.
