I let it ring out and when it went to voicemail, there was nothing there. Blocked the number straight away.

Yesterday, I got a call from this number. The bloke said he was from some company I'd never even heard of, and the name he gave sounded dodgy, like he was purposely mumbling it. Then he claimed the call was being recorded and demanded I hand over my bank details. Luckily, I had someone from the local crime prevention unit with me because of a recent break-in attempt. She asked to talk to the man, and when he started getting rude, she pulled out a tiny alarm from her bag that makes a loud noise. She warned him she’d set it off, and sure enough, after she did, I never heard from them again.

Since about the end of August, I get a call from this number almost every day it seems, looking at my call history.
Before that, I'd been getting calls from a very close number.
I usually don't bother picking up unless I'm around and even then, I let them go to voicemail - no one's ever left any message though.

Got a call at about 10 in the morning, the fourth one from these people! Told the woman I’ve told them multiple times to stop ringing me, but she insisted it was the first time they’d called. Yeah right! Claimed it was some survey they were doing. I told her I never do surveys since they end up selling my info and then I get bombarded with even more annoying calls. Then she just hung up on me. And just so you know, I’m on the TPS list too.

I was just walking in the door when the phone started ringing. Rushed inside to pick it up, but all I got was some clicking noises followed by total quiet. If I ever catch these pests, I seriously don’t know how I'd react!

At first, no sound came through, and then suddenly they just said "Bye" and hung up. Such a weird call!

I’ve told them more times than I can count to quit ringing me, at least four times for sure, and yet here we go again with another call! I’m on the TPS list too!

It’s so annoying when you pick up and there’s just silence, like who’s even there? Total waste of time honestly.

Got loads of calls where nobody talks, so I just added them to my block list.

Got a call from this number and all I got was silence. This has happened quite a few times now. I kept saying "hello" a bunch of times and then suddenly it said "goodbye" before hanging up. Honestly, I’d suggest not ringing them back since that might be exactly what they want. If it feels off, maybe it's worth reporting to the police.

Some guy called claiming he was doing a Global Life survey and wanted details about my life insurance. His first question was who my insurer was. I acted clueless and got him to rattle off a bunch of companies, hoping to jog my memory. It was quite funny! He kept going for ages. Eventually, I told him my insurance was with SCAM[###], and it took him a bit to catch on. I actually managed to keep him chatting for about 12 minutes before telling him I work for wateyourtime[###].

Got a call from this number again today, third time in just three days. They ask if they’re talking to Mrs ... and as soon as I say yes, they just hang up. Pretty sure the voice sounded Asian. The calls come either early in the morning around 8.30 or in the evening about 6pm. Quite odd really.

Got a call about life insurance research, they said it would just take half a minute and only 3 quick questions. I ended up chatting for about 12 minutes, bragging about having life cover worth £500,000 for just 5p a month. Then, out of nowhere, he just hung up on me! Bit cheeky if you ask me :)
