I'm a bit skeptical about this number. A chap named Chris reached out, saying he was my loan advisor, but then another fellow called Roderick popped up claiming the same. Oddly, Roderick originally contacted me from a different number. Both of them have now requested that I send money through Western Union. They've asked for the first month’s installment upfront, promising to refund it later. However, I can't shake off this nagging feeling of mistrust towards them.

I was approached with a request for an initial payment of £60, which I provided without hesitation. However, shortly afterwards, they demanded an additional £110 in order to proceed with the loan release. I firmly declined their request and insisted on a refund of my initial payment.

I recently applied for a loan and got a call from this number yesterday. The guy who called said his name was Tony and claimed he worked for a company called UKfastloans. Since I’m currently looking for a loan, I answered. He told me that my loan was approved and offered two options: secured or unsecured loan. He said if I chose the secured loan, I'd need a guarantor. I told him I didn’t have one, so he suggested going for the unsecured loan instead. But then he said I’d have to pay £112 upfront, a month in advance, before they’d transfer the money into my account within the hour. That put me off because I don’t think you should have to pay before getting the loan. Also, he wanted me to email him my documents, but he never sent anything official confirming the loan approval. Usually, loan companies give you something in writing first, which you sign before going ahead. This was the first time anyone asked me to pay before receiving the loan at all, so I felt suspicious. I googled the number 0333 311 2071 because something didn’t feel right. Tony kept calling, pressuring me to email my passport and payslip as proof of payment. I refused to send them. Then today, he called again and accused me of lying for not making the payment. He threatened to use my details against me and said he’d inform his head office to blacklist me. It’s all quite mad since I haven’t signed anything or received any money. I’m thinking of reporting this to the police but wanted some advice first. Has anyone else had this experience? Today, I received a rather unexpected phone call from this number. The chap on the line identified himself as Justin, claiming to be from a firm called UKfastloans. Now, I'm currently in the market for a loan, so I was initially interested. However, I got quite suspicious when he mentioned that they required the first month’s payment before I’d even been granted the loan! In all my years of dealing with various loan providers, this is genuinely the first time anyone has ever asked for an upfront payment like that. It’s left me feeling uneasy, and my gut instinct is urging me to steer well clear of this company.

Absolutely dodgy operation! They’ll deposit cash into your account, only to pressure you into wiring funds or visiting a Western Union to send money off to India. Seriously, steer clear and don’t give them a penny!
