Received a call purporting to be from O2, stating that my contract was nearing its renewal date. The thing is, I'm on a SIM-only plan, so I corrected her. She seemed quite rattled by that. I mentioned that I was perfectly content with my current rate... Honestly, I'm not convinced this was really O2 at all.

I received a call from my mum, and shortly after, my phone rang again as if the previous call hadn't even ended! I picked up, but all I got was silence before it disconnected. Quite peculiar, really!

I didn't hear a soul on the other end, and then the call just dropped.

Picked up the call, but there was nothing on the other end, then the line simply cut off.

Received a call, picked up, and abruptly they disconnected!

After seeing all the stuff folks have shared here, I’m definitely gonna just block that number. Seems like no good comes from picking up calls from it.

They said it was from O2 and that my contract was due to be renewed, but that’s not true. Still, they backed off when I said no.

Someone rang saying they were from O2 and trying to get me to upgrade my contract, but I never even had a contract with O2 to begin with. Quite dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from someone saying they were with O2, had a polite word to say they were being reported. The woman spoke with a south Asian accent. Then, just a few minutes later, my partner received a call from a bloke with a similar accent, also pretending to be O2, from the same number 03333110903. Very fishy.

Got a call from 03333110903, some lady with an African accent saying she was from O2, trying to sell me an upgrade. I’m pretty sure I’ve got about a year left on my contract, so upgrading now wouldn’t make much sense. Feels like a scam to me.

Got a call from 03333110903, a lady speaking with an African accent saying she was from O2, trying to sell me an upgrade. I’m pretty sure my contract still has about a year left, so it felt pointless to upgrade now. Something about it didn’t sit right with me - seems like it might be a scam.

Absolutely a con job.

Total rip-off!

Got a call earlier claiming it was about renewing my O2 contract. Funny thing is, they text saying it’s 02, not O2. I told them I’d rather not do it over the phone and asked them to send me an email instead, so I’d have proof. They then asked me for my email address to send it, but honestly, they’d already have it if I was their actual customer. Clearly, they need to try a bit harder and maybe call at a better time if they want to catch people off guard.

Got a call from someone asking my husband for his bank details to send him a new card. He’s already gone straight to the bank just to be safe.

Got a call on my mobile, answered it but heard nothing on the other end. Honestly, felt like such a pointless call!

This is so annoying! How do these scammers keep getting my phone number? I’ve been flooded with suspicious calls lately.

I kept getting calls from someone saying they were from O2 and trying to sell me an upgrade. I told them I’d do it online if I was interested. After that, the caller got really angry and started yelling. That’s when I realised it wasn’t actually O2. They’d ring me a couple times a day and then just hang up suddenly. I ended up blocking the number.

My dad got a call from someone claiming to be O2 about an upgrade. He nearly gave them his bank details to set up a direct debit for the new plan. Luckily, after looking into it a bit more, we found out it was a scam. Just a heads up for everyone - make sure you verify who’s calling before sharing any info on the phone!

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2, seemed dodgy so I blocked the number and reported it straight away.

Some guy rang up about my contract but I told him I only discuss that with 02. Told him I’d report the number and then just ended the call.

Like some others here, I got a call from someone claiming to be O2, said my contract was ending (which it wasn't) and even knew my name. They tried selling me an amazing O2 offer - 500 minutes and 40GB on a 2-year contract for £21 a month! Right away, I knew something was off because I can get unlimited calls, texts, and 50GB for £12 a month on a 12-month plan. Told them that sounded poor and to take a hike!

Got a call from some call centre claiming I needed to pay for a phone “upgrade”. Sounded dodgy to me, so I didn’t give them anything. Definitely a scam if you ask me.

I answered, but then the call just dropped straight away.

Got a call from 02 about renewing a contract I never even signed up for. I told the guy, who sounded Asian and knew my name, that I wasn’t on any contract and wasn’t interested. Felt dodgy to me, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now. Definitely seems like a scam.

Every time I pick up, there's silence on the other end. They just keep ringing non stop... it's so frustrating!

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from O2 about my phone contract. I told her I never sort out contracts on the phone because of scammers. She said she got it and then she hung up.

Total rip off, don’t fall for it!

Got a ring from this number earlier, sounded like one of those call centre things about my O2 account and some contract stuff. Wasn’t too sure it was legit though. They kept saying calls were recorded or something? When I asked if they’d sent an email about a price change, they kinda just dodged the question. Decided to block the number after that.

I received a rather suspicious call claiming to be from O2, attempting to fish for my account information. They dangled the lure of a discounted contract and then requested my account number along with some personal details. Quite the dodgy situation!

This number rang me earlier, and the voicemail left was really scary, threatening legal action if I didn’t get back to them.

Someone who claimed to be from O2, my phone provider, rang me up offering a cheaper deal for my contract renewal. I instantly knew the voice from before, answering a call from a different phone number, which had loads of bad reviews on Who Called Me. It was obvious they were just spamming, but I’m not sure how risky it could’ve been.
