I keep getting calls on my mobile from 0333-311-0629, probably a few times each day. Most of the time, no one’s there when I pick up, so I usually just let it ring out. I did pick up twice recently though, once a few weeks back and again yesterday. The woman on the line sounded English and was telling me my o2 contract was due for renewal. Thing is, I’m with o2 but don’t actually have a fixed contract - it’s just a rolling one.

This number’s a total scam, don’t pick up or ring back. They’ll let it ring until you say something, then someone pops up pretending to be from O2 or some other company. Proper dodgy!

Got a call from someone claiming they were with O2, saying my contract needed renewing. Told him I left O2 back in 2020, then he said he was with some company I’ve never heard of before. Strangely, he also told me I sounded really sexy. The number was +443333110629. Pretty sure this was a scam.

I received a call from someone purporting to be from O2, stating that my mobile contract was up for renewal. However, I find it rather dubious since I’ve never had an account with O2. Hence, there’s absolutely no possibility of a renewal on my end. Something feels off about this whole situation.

I got a call from a bloke who said his name was David, but I’m not buying it with that heavy Indian accent. He claimed he was ringing from O2 with a deal to improve my mobile data plan. When I mentioned I actually left O2 back in June 2022, he quickly changed tack and said he worked for some other company (didn’t catch what it was) but was still calling for O2. Sure, mate. I ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call, picked up and no one said a word, then just ended the call - probably one of those scam calls.

They rang me about some order and gave me a bogus reference number. I already knew I hadn’t bought anything, so I told them straight up they were trying to scam me.
