I got a call on my mobile from some guy with a really thick accent who said his name was Jordan Hale. He seemed a bit unsure but eventually said he was a line manager called Peter Hake - which sounds a bit too perfect to be real. He claimed he was ringing from Vodaphone, but when I asked for a callback number, the one he gave wasn't even a Vodaphone number. The whole thing seemed really dodgy to me. Plus, calling back that number costs money, which just adds to the suspicion. Definitely a sketchy scam.

Received a rather dubious call from this number earlier today, claiming to be from Vodafone. They went on about a fabulous promotion offering 30% off my bill for the next year alongside a complimentary Apple Watch Series 4. Naturally, I thought it best to check with Vodafone's live chat first, and lo and behold, they confirmed it was all a scam! I've since updated all my Vodafone account credentials as they had requested my email to supposedly 'send' me some documents. Best to stay vigilant, everyone!

Received a rather peculiar call from this number earlier today, purporting to be from Three. They were keen to offer me a £3 reduction on my monthly bill for the next year, along with the opportunity to upgrade my current phone to a Samsung for just £34 a month. Fortunately, the only personal information they managed to snag was my name and address. Quite the dodgy business, if you ask me!

I received a call purporting to be from Three, my phone provider, claiming to offer some discounts on my account. However, the whole thing felt a bit dodgy-especially when they started asking me some rather strange questions. I decided to cut the conversation short and rang up Three directly. They assured me that the call was a scam; apparently, they don’t issue staff ID numbers as the caller had mentioned. This is likely a con or could even be something more sinister. If you get a call from this number, hang up right away!

I just had a rather unexpected phone call from a lady named Maya Smith, who claimed to be representing 3. She mentioned something about a 20% discount on my account with them. Be warned - it’s definitely a scam! I’d advise against providing any personal information to these individuals.

I received a call from this number, purporting to be from the 3 network. In a moment of foolishness, I consented to a modification of my contract and went ahead with ordering a Samsung Galaxy S20. However, they later informed me that there had been some sort of mix-up and I ended up with an iPhone 14 Pro instead. When it arrived, I was duped into sending the iPhone off to a so-called collections team, and now I'm left facing a hefty bill from 3.

I recently received a phone call from a woman named ‘Isabella David’ who was touting an enticing deal of £7 a month for a full year with my existing mobile provider, Three. As my contract was nearing its conclusion, I went ahead and shared my email address with her. She mentioned that I’d be receiving a follow-up confirmation call later. However, before that happened, I was bombarded with a text notification claiming I’d upgraded to an iPhone 14 Pro for £74 a month, along with a complimentary Samsung Galaxy A7 Lite tablet. To add to the chaos, it seems they’ve removed the spending limit on my account as well. When I attempted to log into my Three account, I discovered my email had been altered to something entirely different! They’ve also been persistently calling me at this number.

I’ve just had a rather peculiar phone call from someone named Isabella David, who was pushing a 12-month deal for just £7 a month. Shortly after that, I received a text claiming that I could upgrade to an iPhone 14 Pro for £74 a month. They even went and lifted the spending cap on my account! To top it all off, when I checked my Three account, it seems they’ve altered my email address. Do take care, everyone!

I received a call from this number and it turned out to be a right scam. The caller was masquerading as someone from my mobile service provider, and to make matters worse, they seemed to be having a simultaneous online conversation with the company while they had my name and address. Astonishingly, they somehow managed to get my account upgraded for a brand new iPhone!

I've encountered a similar situation myself.

I received a call from a chap claiming to be associated with Three, who went by the name of “Aron Warner.” He insisted that he was slashing my monthly bill from £9 down to just £6 as part of some promotional deal, which naturally I found appealing. Then, he presented an enticing offer for a new phone - a Samsung A54 for merely £8 per month. Not long after, I was contacted again by a woman, also with an Indian accent, trying to entice me with yet another “exclusive offer.” Their manner was rather unprofessional, and they repeatedly requested that I clarify my answers, which started to raise my eyebrows. Feeling a bit uneasy about the whole situation, I decided to ring Three directly to verify. To my surprise, they informed me that no one from their team had reached out to me that day. I would strongly advise anyone to be cautious, as they will likely ask for your banking information and personal details. Stay vigilant!
