This number has rung me a few times - I’ve blocked it now but they still get through to voicemail, though they leave no message! I reckon it might be connected to some free Life Insurance I got when I signed up with the GMB Union? Or maybe the company that provided that free policy passed on my info to other firms? Bit cheeky if you ask me! They're really annoying calls and they waffle on a bit, but if you’re direct with them they usually hang up quick. Still, they keep ringing back. Been getting calls from this number a bunch these last few days. Dunno how they manage to dodge the TPS but they keep at it. They wouldnt tell me what company they were from either. I’ve had my fill of this number and the relentless callers associated with it. It’s high time something was done about these nuisance calls, be it through stricter laws or blocking these characters altogether. Got a call from a bloke named Dan claiming he was checking up on my life insurance. I asked him which company the policy was through, but he said he couldn’t say because of data protection. I told him I deal with data protection daily in my job, so he clearly had no clue who handles my policies. When I asked who he worked for, he said Goldsmiths. I’ve looked them up and apart from jewellery shops, nothing came up. Told him to take my number off their list and not to bother calling again. I’ve blocked the number now.

Policy review team called about looking over life insurance, kicked off by asking for my date of birth supposedly for data protection. I asked what info they had on me and the guy then asked if I was still at an old address I left back in 2016. Then he said he'd transfer me to someone else who could offer a better deal. I’d blocked the number since it called on Friday and from what I found online it looked like a spam call. It called again today and went straight to voicemail. The message lasted about 10 seconds before they hung up. All I could hear was noise from what sounded like a busy call centre. No one actually spoke, just some faint breathing in the background.
