4 yearsI received a rather dubious phone call from this number, claiming that O2 is giving away complimentary iPhones or slashing my bill by 40%. Naturally, this is clearly a scam, as O2, along with any legitimate provider, would never engage in such practices!O24 yearsI received a call purporting to be from O2, offering me a free iPhone or a generous 40% discount on my bill. Unfortunately, I was persuaded to share the 6-digit code that came through to my phone, leading to them placing an order from my account-quite foolish, I admit. Luckily, I realised something was amiss when I could no longer log into my O2 account. I promptly changed my password and contacted 202. They managed to cancel the order and informed me that it was indeed a case of access fraud. Strangely enough, the scammers called me again the following day, attempting to pull the same trick. When I confronted him about it, he simply hung up.5 yearsI received a call from someone claiming to represent O2, promising me a whopping 40% discount on my Vodafone contract. It felt a bit dodgy, so I decided to end the call. To add to the oddness, they bombarded me with two text messages; one contained a PIN code supposedly for accessing my O2 account, which I don’t even have! They wanted me to divulge that code, but I wasn't falling for it. Definitely gave me the creeps!Vodafone5 yearsThey said they were representing O2, but when I questioned them, they simply cut the line.5 yearsI recently encountered a similar situation where they attempted to text me, trying to get me to verify my access. It’s clearly a scam!Submit Your Own Report (0333 305 1037)
