5 yearsI received a rather dubious phone call from this number, claiming that O2 is giving away complimentary iPhones or slashing my bill by 40%. Naturally, this is clearly a scam, as O2, along with any legitimate provider, would never engage in such practices!O25 yearsI got a call saying they were from O2 and that I could get a free iPhone or a 40% discount on my bill. They convinced me to say out loud a 6 digit code they’d sent to my phone and then somehow used it to order a phone on my account (I know, pretty daft of me now). Luckily, when I suddenly couldn’t log into my O2 account, I changed my password straight away and called 202. They cancelled the order and told me it was a kind of fraud. The scammers tried phoning me again the next day with the same trick, but as soon as I questioned them, they just hung up.5 yearsI just got a call from someone claiming to be O2, trying to tempt me with 40% off my Vodafone bill. It felt dodgy so I just ended the call straight away. Afterwards, they sent me a couple of texts - one had a pin supposedly for my O2 account (which I don’t actually have). They asked me to give them the code, but there’s no way I shared it.
