Just got a call today (28th Oct 2020) from someone claiming they work for the Office of Fair Trading. They said I was due a refund for bank fees I'd been wrongly charged. Seems like these scams never stop!

A woman reached out, asserting she was from Reclaim Genius, offering to help recover funds from banks for charges on things like bank statements and cheque books. Astonishingly, she informed me I was owed £4,981!

Somebody rang me pretending to be from the Office of Fair Trading saying I've got money back from bank fees I supposedly paid. I’m pretty sure that’s not right since I’ve never had to pay any bank fees at all.

Got a call pretending she’d won some prize, totally taking advantage of an elderly lady who was clearly vulnerable. It felt so wrong how they tricked her like that.
