They tricked me with a fake loan offer of £2000, but first asked for a payment for the initial month. After that, they wanted a “security deposit” of £466. When I tried to stop the payment, they threatened to take legal action unless I paid another £375 to get the money released. They said the UK government would fine me between £300 and £1000 if I didn’t comply. I’m convinced now that it was a scam and I ended up losing the £466.
