Received a call purporting to be from Monzo, claiming there had been a withdrawal from my account. They insisted I had to cancel my card and provide them with my card information. I terminated the call and rang my bank instead.

Today I got a call from someone claiming to be the Chase fraud squad. They asked me to verify my name and the first four digits of my card. Then they asked if I’d made some suspicious payments on places like Amazon and Trading 121. When they started digging deeper with more questions, I just hung up. I called my bank straight away and they told me it was definitely a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Chase UK, they mentioned my name and the last four digits of my card. They said there were suspicious charges on my account and wanted me to verify how much was in my current and savings accounts. I didn’t give them any info and told them I’d get in touch with my bank. Turned out it was a scam, my bank later told me it was a fraud attempt. Total scammers!

Watch out, this is definitely a scam. They claim to be from the Starling Bank Fraud department and even share the first six digits of your card to sound legit. Then they tell you there’s been suspicious activity on your account and try to get you to give them the rest of your card details. Don’t fall for it!
