Got a call from someone claiming to be my bank. Told them I’d ring the bank myself to check. When I did, they said it definitely wasn’t them calling.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Three, offering a loyalty discount on my bill plus a free tablet. They asked for loads of personal info and mentioned a £35 admin charge. They even managed to send texts that looked proper legit, complete with passcodes. I’ve already told my bank about it just in case.

Got a call from someone pretending to be 3 mobile saying they had a special offer for me. They kept asking for my bank details and other personal info. I called 3 myself afterwards to check and turns out it was a total scam.

They called me with one of those recorded messages about a package stuck in customs, but that’s not right since customs duty is paid upfront nowadays by law. I quickly told them if this was a scam I wasn’t falling for it, then they just ended the call straight away.

I was sorting out an issue with Alexa and Amazon at the same time, and luckily missed picking up the call. It felt a bit fishy, like maybe someone was trying to hack me while I was logging in, even though I had already declined the cookies. Quite a weird coincidence, if you ask me.

I received a call about a missing parcel that supposedly ended up at their depot. They had my full name but couldn’t give me any other info or even show a photo of the package. Seemed off to me.

So I got a call claiming to be from Royal Mail about a parcel they said I was supposed to have. They wanted me to follow some steps to collect it. I asked them straight up if it was a scam, and instead of answering properly, they just mumbled and cut me off right away. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

The bloke kept saying he was calling from the NHS, said I should’ve had my two covid vaccines and asked if I was happy with my doctor. I fibbed and told him my doctor’s hair was awful! But he wasn’t fazed, claimed he was with the NHS fraud squad or something. I told him to send me a letter instead, but he wouldn’t back off, so I just ended the call. Funny as anything.
