Got a call about some auto renewal from Aoi Tech Solutions and they were asking for £249.95. Then they said I’d have to pay £70 just to cancel it. I didn’t fall for it and refused to pay because it smelt like a total scam.

Got an email saying £249.95 was going to be taken from my bank for a subscription, and that cancelling would set me back £70. I called the genuine company with the same name and they confirmed they’d shut down and any emails like that are just scams. If cash disappears from your account like that, definitely report it as fraud.
