They've been running a genuine company since 2019, September to be exact.

They’re pretending to be from a PPI team and asking for my date of birth and other details to carry on with the claim! What a dodgy scheme!

Somebody said they were from BT but I get loads of calls like that, so I usually just put the phone down straight away.

I opted not to pick up this call as it came from a number I'm not familiar with. It’s highly likely it's a scam, given I don’t recognise the caller at all.

Somebody rang up pretending to be from Amex, saying they had to talk about my account.

There was a short silence, then I realised it was from a call centre, but they ended the call without saying a word.

Just now, this number rang me up saying some fake company is shutting down and that they were gonna give me a refund. Seemed pretty dodgy to me.

It was total chaos on the phone, claimed to be from BT’s tech team. Thank goodness I’m not one of their customers!

This number keeps calling pretty much every day. I've stopped answering now and just let it go to voicemail, but the moment it starts recording, they hang up straight away.

Saw I had a missed call and straight away thought it was a scam - hardly anyone rings my landline these days! The bloke asked if I was 'Mrs. So-and-so' and I told him no. Then he rang me again! This time, he tried the old routine about being from BT Openreach and some problem with my computer. I just said 'You’re not' and put the phone down. Blocked the number straight away.

This number, 03333031426, keeps trying to call me every day even tho I've blocked it. My phone doesn’t ring or anything so they never actually get to me. Just wanted to put this out there as a reminder of how some people can be really annoying and clueless!

This number just rang me up saying there was an issue with my BT router and asked me to log in so they could help fix it. Thing is, I haven’t been with BT for ages! As soon as I said that, they dropped the call. Don’t fall for this, it’s definitely a scam.

I’m so fed up with these scammers from Asia trying to trick folks out of their cash. You can easily tell it’s not a real call centre ‘cause it’s way too noisy - sounds more like a recorded message. When the guy first chatted with me, there was no background noise, then suddenly you hear that typical call centre buzz. It’s ridiculous and they really need to be shut down. A mate of mine, an older lady, got caught by these lot and ended up losing money from her bank! She actually thought they were legit callers!!

This number, 03333031426, kept ringing my phone on 12/11/2018. After lots of calls from it, I finally blocked it thanks to the info I found here. Cheers!

Got a call from a bloke with a thick Asian accent, said his name was William. He actually got my name right but I just played it cool and asked what he was ringing about. Said he was from BT about my internet, which is odd cos I’m not a BT customer. I told him the cops were probably listening in on our chat, and he just cut the call straight away.

Got a call from an Asian guy claiming he could protect my IP address from criminals using it. I rang up my internet provider to double-check, and they said everything's fine on their end. Turns out, it was just a scam attempt.

This number called me earlier today but I missed it, and honestly if I’d answered I’d have ended the call right away. I’m so fed up with these annoying calls every single day. I’m with the person who said that the police or the government really need to step in and do something about these scam calls from both inside and outside the UK. Maybe we should all band together and start a petition, try to get enough signatures - like 100,000 or so - to get Parliament to pay attention to this problem. It’s about time something was done!

Just got a call from 0333 303 1426 about 10 minutes back, bloke on the line had a really strong Asian accent. I answered with a quick hello, but he just said sorry and then straight-up ended the call. Weird!

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent about my BT internet service. Problem is, I don’t even use BT, so I just ended the call quickly and blocked the number straight away. Honestly, I wish them bad luck getting home, maybe then they’ll quit pestering people like me.

Got a phone call from some Indian call centre pretending to be from my internet provider, but it was supposed to be BT, which I don't even use. Told them straight up they were lying and ended the call, then blocked the number. Honestly, these random calls are all just scams nowadays, nothing else!

I got a call from someone saying they were with BT internet, but I actually get my service through a BT subsidiary, and they definitely don’t use those Indian call centres like this caller did. Felt a bit dodgy to me!

Got a call from someone saying they were with BT, telling me my broadband was under attack and I needed to log into my device to fix it. The accent was really thick, so I reckon they're just some call centre, maybe in India. Told them I wasn’t falling for it, that they weren’t really BT, and I just cut the call.

Got a call earlier at 12:36 from a man with a strong Indian accent who only knew my initials, not my full name. He claimed to be from BT checking on my broadband and even asked how I was doing. I suspected it was a scam straight away. When I told him I was busy, he cheekily replied something like, "What, having a ### or what?" I just ended the call and then searched online to find out how to report these dodgy calls. Really hope the police start cracking down on these scammers, assuming they’re even based here!

There was a brief pause before a woman, sounding Asian and speaking with a really bad accent, called out my name and claimed to be from BT. I didn’t let her continue and told her she was a scammer. After that, I just blocked the number.

This morning around 10:59, while I was already talking on another line, this number gave me a ring. I didn’t know who it was, so I looked it up on “who called” and it showed neutral. Curious, I phoned back and an Asian gentleman claimed he was from a tech company saying they supposedly owed me some cash. When I asked what kind of computer he meant, he said it was a laptop, but I told him I’ve never had one. Then he tried asking for my bank details, which I refused to share, and I ended the call.
