I got a call but couldn’t hear anyone, so I just ended it. Then they called back and asked for me. When I asked who they were, they claimed to be from a loan company, but I told them I hadn’t contacted any loan firms and hung up. They kept calling two more times, but I just ignored them. When they rang the fifth time, I snapped and said, “Stop bothering me, I’m busy,” then ended the call. They called yet again, and this time my boyfriend picked up and told them to stop calling. The caller then said, “We’re taking £499 from your account,” before hanging up immediately.

This number called me sayin they could lend me cash, but said I had to pay a £230 fee or provide a guarantor first. I gave them the £230, then they came back askin for another £300 to release a £5000 loan. I asked for the company’s contact number, but they just called me daft and hung up. Felt like dealing with a whole crew of scammers in some call centre. Honestly, I don’t get why the police haven’t done anything yet, there’s loads of complaints about this number everywhere.

I got a call from 03333031284, where the person said they were from 02, offering a 40% discount on monthly bills because 02 apparently lost a lot of customers during covid. They actually had loads of my info, like my email, home address, and even how much I pay each month. They even sent a text that looked like it came from 02 themselves (same number they've used before for texts). Just a warning - don’t share the code they text you! I didn’t hand over any info myself, but I let them chat so I could see what bits they already had.

They rang me up five times all together. Two calls came through a couple days back, and then three more just today. I never managed to pick up since the calls came at odd hours, like 7 o'clock which felt pretty strange. Every time I tried returning the call, it just dropped immediately. Bit of a bizarre situation really.

They had every bit of my details, like my home address, postcode and even my email. They knew exactly how much I pay for my contract each month, right down to the last penny. They’re really slick with their talk and actions but it’s a total con. Someone ordered an iPhone in my name sent to my place. If I hadn’t spotted it, I’d have been duped fully. They track the parcel to your door, then call you up and get you to send the phone back through a PO box - which ends up with the scammers.

I got a call from this number claiming to be from 02, trying to convince me to switch tariffs with some "discount" deal. They said they'd send me a free ‘package’ because I’m a loyal customer, but turns out it’s not free at all. They trick you into signing a new contract that costs about £70. They said they had my details since they supposedly worked for 02 back in 2019. From what I heard, there's an ongoing probe into these dodgy practices.

Got a call from 03333031284 and it sounded like one of those Indian call centres. They said they were from 02 and tried to sell me a new plan that would save me £40 a month and even give me a refund for last month. Since I’m a business customer, I knew straight away it was dodgy and told them I was hanging up. Funny thing is, they didn’t even get what I meant by ending the call! I got a call twice from 33 303 1284, claiming they were from 02. They told me I could get 40% off my bill if I just sent some 'ote' whatever that means. Pretty obviously a scam. Didn’t fall for it and never sent anything. Looks like they're trying to steal your info and scam your account.
