Got a call from someone with a proper Indian call centre accent, said they were from Amazon’s cancellation team. They warned me that my Amazon Prime was about to renew, but when I said I didn’t want it, they pushed me to install some app on my phone to stop the renewal. Sounded really dodgy to me.

Beware of this number, it’s dodgy. They initially called claiming to be from my bank, then switched to saying they were from Amazon offering a refund. After that, they asked me to send the money back to them - very risky! The police and fraud team at the bank are now looking into it.
