Got a call from someone claiming to be Barclaycard, saying there was an issue with my card. They kept at it, asking repeatedly for details and if I wanted to update my contact info. I said no a few times, and when they wouldn’t let it go, I mentioned my mate beside me didn’t get what they were on about either. Not long after, they just cut the call. I ended up ringing Barclaycard’s fraud department and they assured me my account was fine. Honestly, no matter how careful you think you are, anyone can fall for stuff like this!

I've just had a phone call from this number, purporting to be from a UK firm. It was blatantly obvious that it was a scam call originating from abroad.

The caller said they were from Vodafone and even knew my name, which was a bit creepy. I told them I actually use Giffgaff to see what they'd say, and they insisted Vodafone owned Giffgaff - which is totally not true. Felt like they were just trying to bluff their way through.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from EE, asking if I’d been having signal problems nearby. When they requested my postcode, I asked for a contact number to ring them back. The bloke with an Indian accent said his name was ‘Mike Thomas’ and gave me the extension 2010. Yeah, no chance I’m calling that number again!

They rang me up, used my name and said they were from Vodafone. I just ended the call straight away since I’m not even with Vodafone.

I picked up the phone and the person asked if I was ‘my name’. When I said yes, he started chatting about how I was doing. I then asked who he was, and he said he was from EE. I didn’t want to continue, so I just hung up.

Regularly receives calls from this number, only for them to cut off abruptly. It appears to be fishing for personal details. Definitely a digit you’d want to steer clear of answering!

I keep getting bombarded by this pesky spam caller, hitting me up 3 to 4 times daily! I've already told them twice that they've dialled the wrong number and requested them to take me off their list. It's beyond frustrating! If only there was a way to block all those numbers starting with 033, I'd have some much-needed peace and quiet. This is becoming a right nuisance!

Moments ago, I picked up a call from someone purporting to be from Vodafone, claiming they'd provide me with a whopping 40% discount on my bill while renewing my contract with some new devices. When I expressed my reluctance to share any bank information and mentioned my preference to visit a branch instead, they insisted they’d send the contract through email. However, I'm still waiting for that email to arrive. I had my suspicions right from the start, and after a quick Google search, I discovered that it’s indeed a scam-just as I'd feared!

I received a call claiming I was eligible for an upgrade through EE. The caller acted as if they were facilitating this upgrade, but it soon became apparent that costly iPhones were being ordered from my account without my consent. Quite the shocking turn of events!
