Got a call out of nowhere from someone saying they're from EE, offering me a big cut on my phone bill. I asked them to prove they were legit, and they gave me a number, saying it was EE's customer service. I looked up that number straight away and, yep, it was flagged as a scam! Honestly, I felt something was off from the start and now I know why. Bit gutted I ended up giving them my name and address though - not happy about that at all.

This number keeps ringing me even after I blocked it. They claim I asked for help with debt advice, which is totally not true. When I told the woman I would report them to Ofcom, she said I was being rude. I’ve warned them and asked again and again to take my number off their list, but it’s like they just ignore me!

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise. I usually just ignore those. Weirdly, it didn’t leave a voicemail even though I have it set up. The phone just stopped ringing suddenly. Then I saw a warning pop up saying it was a “possible scam”. So, I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

I usually just ignore calls from unfamiliar numbers, my phone doesn’t even ring when they come through. Over the last few weeks, I’ve had about three calls from unknowns, and every single one of them turned out to be sketchy. So seriously, why would I bother picking up my iPhone? ๐Ÿคท‍โ™€๏ธ I’m totally fed up with all these random foreigners trying their luck, hoping I’m not paying attention. It’s honestly quite gross.

Dodgy scammers who really should find proper work. They said they were from 3, but when I pulled them up asking if it was a scam (was a bit annoyed since I was actually in the mood for a laugh), they started having a go at my mum for no clear reason ๐Ÿคจ. Absolutely pathetic stuff ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ

Despite Vodafone's online information suggesting otherwise, someone claiming to be from Vodafone approached me with an appealing upgrade offer. However, when I requested confirmation of my last bill amount, they were unable to provide it. They claimed to be from the promotions department and not the accounts department, making it difficult for them to access such information. I also requested them to send me the details of the offer via email, but I haven't received anything. Later, I came across this discussion thread which made me reconsider. It's safer to block and steer clear of this situation.

Got another call from these fraudsters today, after they rang me yesterday. They asked for my card info, saying they wanted to set up a cheaper new account for me. I just said there’s no way I’m giving them my card, and that I’d confirm with Vodafone directly. Sure enough, Vodafone said it was a scam and to ignore them. Can’t believe they had the nerve to call again today, trying the same trick, but I told him I knew what was going on and he ended the call.

Someone said they were from 3 Network. When they asked me how much I pay each month, I just made up £12 a month. Then they offered me £8 a month for unlimited calls and texts, which I pretended to agree with even though I knew it was a con. After that, they started asking for my full name, date of birth, nationality, and whether I'm married or single. I figured they were after my identity or some personal info. After about 10 minutes, I got fed up and called them out as scammers.

I hardly ever answer calls from numbers that are not in my contact list. Today, a call came in from one such number, which I chose to ignore. Out of curiosity, I looked up the number on this app, and as expected, it was an unsolicited call. It seems that some individuals have nothing better to do than invade our lives without invitation. Consequently, I am adding more numbers to my block and ignore list as it continues to expand.

About a fortnight ago, I got a call from someone saying they were from Sky. I didn’t give them any bank info, obviously, and later checked with Sky directly who told me they never made that call and they wouldn't ask for card details like that.
