Got in touch with them about a month ago asking if they could pause my premiums for a day. They said yes, and confirmed it’d only be for 24 hours. Fast forward a couple months, I called up ‘cause my bill was crazy high. Turns out I’d gone over my limit and was supposed to call again to put a spending cap back on. No one from Three ever mentioned this to me originally, just kept saying it was only for 24 hours. Also, the customer service was pretty rude, and the person I spoke with had an accent, maybe from India or somewhere in Asia.

this number rang a mate of mine, the one i use all the time. they wanted to talk to me about upgrading with Three. mate said i wasn’t in and they asked for my number, but she wouldn’t give it out. weird thing is, i’d just been on with Three about an upgrade y’know. how do they even know that? how could they have my friends’ numbers? feels like it’s gotta be from Three somehow. Three, you really need to look into this!

Someone said they were from the three network, but the call was from a call centre in India. They said the call was about security on my account. I’d recently bought a new phone and contract online that day. The order was done, money left my account and the phone was already sent. When I asked them to give me the order number and tell me which phone I bought, they only had my name and phone number. I told them straight away I wasn’t giving out any bank info or personal details, and if they call again I’ll report them for harassment.

They wanted details I’d already given, plus questions like who I live with, my overdraft limit, and credit card limits. I told them to cancel my application and then they just hung up. Since then, I've phoned customer service 3 times to cancel the contract and told them their security team, much like their retention staff, really ought to be British.
