I’ve had a couple of calls from this number over the past two days. The person on the line spoke with a Liverpudlian accent and somehow knew my name. They kept saying they knew I had damp problems at home. When I told them I didn’t, they said there must be some confusion. I recently got car insurance, so I’m thinking maybe they got my phone number from there. Sounds like typical cold calling to me.

I didn’t recognize the number but rang it back anyway, only to be met with a dial-up sound. Pretty sure that means it’s one of those scams.
