Over the last couple of days, I’ve had two calls from this number, but when I answered, no one said anything and just hung up. I once spoke to the National Lottery about my account, and the bloke told me he’d ring me back at a set time later on. That’s pretty much the only reason they’ll ever call you first. Any winnings under £500 go straight into your account, and if you win over that, you’re prompted to call a different number when you log in - definitely not this one. I’m sure this number is faked.

Oh yeah, definitely a 'lottery SCAM!' Just received an email saying my account is being closed - which is strange 'cause I don’t even have one, though I do play the lottery every week. One day after getting a call from an Asian bloke pretending to be from Microsoft (said there was a “problem” with my software he could sort out), I got a call from this same number, which I’ve now blocked. Since I didn’t know the number, I just let it ring through to voicemail.
