Got a call from a young man who wanted to talk to the homeowner. He said the last name and then the first, but unfortunately the person has passed away. It was really upsetting for the wife to hear.

Got a call from some lot calling themselves UK Hi or summat. They spoke real quick, said I’d given them my number - which I haven’t, I’m ex-directory and keep it that way. They were pushing window replacements, roof fixes, kitchens or something like that. Then they tried to bribe me with £500! I just told them to jog on. What a cheek!
