I got a call earlier today about my washing machine’s warranty running out. They’d called me a few weeks back and tried to get me to renew the insurance, but I said no flat out. They just brushed it off and said they’d renew it anyway, which I told them again I didn’t want before hanging up. Today’s call was more direct. A bloke rang to say he was renewing my machine’s insurance. I told him that wasn’t happening and he just said, “Oh yes it is.” I kept telling him he couldn’t do that without my okay, and he went on with, “I think I can.” It really annoyed me how cheeky he was, so I told him off and ended the call. Later on, I tried to complain and rang them back, but all I got was an automated message giving me the option to remove my number from their list, which I hopefully managed to do. I’m still quite annoyed over how they spoke to me though.

Got a call earlier saying my washing machine's warranty is nearly up. I guess it's better news than it having some kind of virus, but still not accurate. At least the guy on the phone was courteous though.

I’ve been getting calls from them like twice, sometimes even four times a day, and I just don’t pick up. They keep on ringing though, it’s pretty annoying. I’m retired and home most of the time, so it’s starting to feel like they’re harassing me. If I ever tracked them down, I’d give them a proper telling off!
