Got a call from Heart Heating in Doncaster, number 01302 637368, if you fancy calling them back! They were trying to push government-backed heat pumps but it really felt like a telemarketing call to me. They knew my name and where I live, but I didn’t give them any info and she just hung up on me. Would steer clear of this lot!

Got a call today 13/04/2017, was dead silent when I picked up, just some background noise like a call centre. Ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Received a call on both my mobile and landline-strangely, neither got picked up. We have a strict policy of not engaging with numbers we don't recognise. Should the call be significant, I reckon the person will leave a message. It's the only foolproof method to fend off those pesky telemarketers. Received a call from this number, a woman was asking for a Mr or Mrs Broadbent. I told her I had no idea who they were and my name isn’t Broadbent. This number rang me just after I'd lifted off from Leeds Bradford Airport (was in a Cessna 152, if anyone cares). I mentioned I was piloting the plane since I have a PPL (Private Pilot Licence) and had to focus on updates from Air Traffic Control about weather and nearby traffic. Suddenly, they just wanted to chat about planes and flying them! That was the end of the call!

Got a right muppet on the phone claiming they grabbed my number from some website I supposedly used. I told them straight up I’ve never put my number online anywhere - it was assigned to me fresh.
