Got a call from some bloke with a Scots accent claiming it was about a home survey I supposedly did in May. He kept asking for my name, asked me two times actually, but I didn’t give it to him. Told him I don’t do surveys and he just said thanks and ended the call. I’ve blocked the number now. Seriously, what’s the point of these calls anyway?

Some bloke rang me up, saying I’d won £1000 from a phone survey - which I never even take part in. I asked him to just send the voucher by post and then he just ended the call.

Got a call from a guy who claimed I’d won a £1,000 voucher for either kitchen or bathroom renovations. He actually knew my name and postcode, which was a bit spooky. He asked me which room I wanted to put the voucher towards. I said the amount wasn’t really worth the hassle and told him to keep it. Then I just ended the call right there.

Got a call the other day from someone claiming I’d filled out a survey sometime this year, which is complete rubbish as I never did any such thing. They insisted it must have happened, then mentioned a postcode linked to an old place I moved out of over a decade ago. I wasn’t hanging around to see what kind of scam they were trying to pull.
