Got a call from a sales agent out of the blue, but what freaked me out was they already knew my name! Totally felt like one of those sneaky cold calls.

I got a call on my phone and the person knew my full name right away. They were pitching something about energy or similar stuff, pretending it was supported by the government. I asked them straight away what company they were from and they said NG Energy or something like that. I cut them off and ended the call nicely. How did they even get my name and number? Feels like a dodgy and annoying call to me.

They tried to tell me who they wanted to speak to but just as they started, the call dropped. I asked who it was again and the exact same thing happened - every time they were about to say a name, the line cut off. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Got a weird call with some foreign sounding recording but it got interrupted after just a couple of seconds. Strange.
