I just got a call where someone called me by my first name, said it was O2 and that my contract was up for renewal with a free upgrade. I foolishly said my renewal isn’t till February, then she said she'd look into it and get back to me.

I'm not really sure, but I think there's an update coming in September with EE.

Got a call from this number earlier today, then they rang me back from another number asking if I wanted to upgrade my plan or something. Told them I already sorted that out last month so I’m not interested.

This number has rung me at least 10 times but no one ever picks up. I reported it to a group that deals with nuisance calls - they told me to block it and check with your provider if they say they’re legit. Providers should make sure companies working on their behalf aren’t just scammers. Best to block it right away and never answer if it’s unknown.

Got through to Get Connected, which turns out to be part of EE. They seemed legit and handle EE mobile deals.

They phoned me about 9 times last month but I didn't pick up once. I’m with EE as well so guess it's just like what others said, probably some salesman trying to get me to upgrade. Only thing is, my upgrade isn’t even due till October 2018!

They said they were working with EE and had a free upgrade for me, trying to talk me through different plans. I just upgraded not long ago, so there’s no way it’s legit - total scam.

I get calls about two times a day from this number, the bloke asks something about EE then about music and just hangs up. Does anyone know if there’s any charges linked to this number?

This number has kept ringing me the past few days but I couldn’t answer. Finally picked up today 14/09, and some bloke said he was from EE or something and said my phone contract’s due for renewal soon (which isn’t true, it’s not until November). Told him to call back later as I couldn’t really chat then. My phone flags the number as SPAM too, so I’m quite suspicious about it.

Numbers that aren’t saved and have strange country codes usually turn out to be scams for me, so I just don’t pick up.
