This number is clearly linked to loads of scams. I got a prerecorded message saying my BT broadband would be cut off unless I pressed 1 or 2. I’ve reported it to https://ico.org.uk to try and get it sorted.

Got a call from some dodgy lot claiming they’d lower my hubby’s Sky protection bill as we supposedly never contacted them all year. They asked for card info, but we don’t even pay our Sky cover that way! Tried ringing them back and all I got was a robotic “hello goodbye.” Said they were RS services or something - totally a scam!

Watch out, got a call from Maria at RS Services on 03450569339 offering cheap insurance. She asked for my card details, but I didn’t give them since she already knew the first 4 digits. Feels dodgy, maybe a scam?

Really wish I’d looked into this beforehand. Got tricked big time. Some bloke rang saying I could get a cheap insurance for my Sky box. It all sounded so legit. I rang them back about four times over a few weeks since I hadn’t received any documents. Needless to say, I’ve now cancelled my card and told my bank. Watch out, folks.

Got a call from this number. A lady called Jane said I was a low risk client for my Sky gear and claimed I could save money. She sounded really believable and I ended up giving her my bank info. After the call, I looked this company up on this site. Then I contacted my bank and blocked my card. Definitely won’t fall for that again.

Got a call earlier today from someone called Jane, sounded proper official. She said I hadn’t claimed on my insurance for my Sky box and that I could cut down my payments covering the last 3 years. When I told her I did have insurance but was fine as it is, she suddenly got really annoyed. I just ended the call there.

I got a phone call from 0333 212 1775, a woman asking if I had any insurance on my sky dish and other electrical stuff. I told her no, then she asked if I lived at my own address. I said yes but didn’t give her any more info. Now I’m a bit worried my sky dish might be faulty or something.

Got a call from this number earlier today. The person on the line knew my name but I couldn’t figure out where they were ringing from. I asked them to repeat themselves but still couldn’t catch what they said. The woman said something about me not having made any claims on my satellite policy and offered to upgrade it. I said, "I’m not aware of any policy like that?" Then she asked, "don’t you pay £9.99 a month?" When I said no and that I’ve never paid anything like that, she just ended the call. Seems like a scam to me, but it’s worrying they already know your name!

Got a call from a lady saying we could get a discount on our sky protect plan since we hadn’t claimed anything this year. Thing is, we never even had a sky protect policy. The moment I told her that, she just dropped off. Pretty clear it was a scam trying to get my bank info. Total scam.

Got a call from Louise who said I’m already paying them £120 a year but haven't made a claim lately. She was trying to persuade me to renew my cover for my satellite TV. Thing is, I don’t pay anyone, and I’ve never come across this company before. She mentioned the business is based in London.

Got a call from ERS today, which I actually picked up. They’ve been ringing like mad the last few days, must’ve been about 10 times in total. They wanted to sell me satellite insurance for £120 a year. They knew the right address, but the phone number was strange since my husband usually sorts the insurance. Plus, they had a totally different name in their records. When I called them out on it, the woman just hung up on me.

Got a call from a woman named Maria, said she was from R S SERVICES, number 03450569339. She was offering a 3 year cover for £150 a year and said someone from their team would ring me tomorrow. Asked if I had a password, I said sandy5 (which I never actually use!). Felt like she was fishing for my Sky password or something. When she mentioned the caller would want my bank info, I just said no and hung up. Geoff from Swansea.

I completely echo the sentiments of those who have been plagued by constant calls from this number. It's absolutely infuriating! If anyone has any tips on how to put an end to these pesky interruptions, I would be immensely grateful.

I'm thoroughly fed up with this number incessantly ringing me up four times daily. I've made it clear that I'm not interested and requested they cease their calls, yet they persist without fail. I've taken to ignoring the calls, but it seems to have no effect whatsoever; the harassment just continues. It’s quite absurd that this sort of thing is allowed to happen. You’d think they’d eventually take the hint, but alas, no such luck!

Got a call from this number recently. It was a young bloke, quite unsure and stammering at the start, like he was talking to someone in the background. Got a call from an older lady claiming to be from RS Services, saying since I was a low risk client, my usual £120 yearly plan was being bumped up to £150 for three years. She said I needed to cancel the old policy myself and provide my full card details. Nearly fell for it 'cause she sounded pretty legit. Luckily, my missus grabbed the phone off me and told her to jog on! Saw these reviews too, which definitely helped me be cautious.

Got a call from a lady who sounded like she was at home, I could hear a dog barking in the background. She spoke softly, said she wanted to help with my satellite (which confused me as I don’t have one). She mentioned a discount if I signed up for a 3 to 5 year contract. Then she asked if I still used the same bank, and I said Barclays (which I’d never use). I’ve been absolutely inundated by this firm that’s clearly meddling about, having got my details from who-knows-where. For weeks, they’ve been bombarding me with calls on both my landline and mobile, all in an attempt to peddle Sky insurance. Honestly, I’ve made it quite clear that I have zero interest in their offerings, so why on earth can’t they take a hint? It’s as if they’re glued to my number! They truly are like a leech, creeping in uninvited with their relentless sales pitch. One has to wonder, are they actually on some sort of mission? I mean, are they working undercover for North Korea or something? It’s utterly ridiculous!

This number got a ring from someone called Lisa today. She wanted my address and bank info but acted like she already had it, since she knew my name. It felt a bit dodgy. I've been bombarded with calls from these people trying to peddle Sky TV insurance. Honestly, they ring me about a dozen times daily! The thing is, I don't even have Sky - I'm a Virgin Media customer. It’s got to be a scam, right?

This number’s been pestering me daily for weeks now! If it were someone with a proper reason to call, surely they’d leave a message. Thus, I’ve chosen to just disregard them!

Got called again by the same lady pushing satellite insurance like she did a fortnight ago. Gave her the exact same reply. This has gotta be a scam. Told them to shove off. Bit worrying how they use posh-speaking ladies with accents to ring you up. Honestly, don’t trust any of it.

Got calls twice a day for three days straight, really annoying. When I finally picked up, they said something about satellite insurance. Kept telling them to remove my number since I didn’t give them permission, but they just cut me off with no promise to stop calling. Thankfully, I switched off my phone’s wifi just in time. Good job I’d changed all my passwords saved on Google recently, dodged a bullet there!

This number has been ringing me nonstop for the last couple of weeks. I finally picked up, and the bloke said my name then the call dropped straight away. Really thankful this site exists and folks actually check it, coz I’m totally gonna block this number from now on. How on earth do these people even manage this!?

A woman rang claiming to represent Sky Insurance, insisting she could help me save a bundle over the next three years. I've since added her number to my blocked contacts, as I don't even have a Sky subscription!

Earlier today my mother-in-law answered a call, a man was asking for me but she said I was busy at work and asked them to call again later. They said they'd phone back after 3pm to update my account, but when she asked who it was, they just hung up. After seeing other reports about this number, I've gone ahead and blocked it.

Yeah, just ignore it. Best to just end the call.

Spoke to a well-spoken English woman who asked me about my Sky gear. When I said I had no idea what she meant, she mentioned an address, which I recognised as my son-in-law’s. Told her I don’t have Sky and the address wasn’t mine, then she just hung up.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent saying my Sky box insurance was ending and needed renewing. That's not true at all! I've told them to take my number off their list, reported them for pestering me, and signed up with TPS, but they keep ringing anyway. I've had enough and blocked them using a call blocker now. Ofcom really needs to step in and deal with these scammers!

Similar to others, but this one had a posh northern accent instead of a usual foreign caller. She claimed she could cut my costs on satellite insurance and kept saying I had a direct debit of £9.99 monthly with them. When I told her that wasn’t true, she kept pushing more. Then, all of a sudden, she just ended the call once she twigged I wasn’t going to share any details. STEER CLEAR.

Received a rather peculiar call on my mobile from this number. The person on the other end was prattling on about insuring my Sky box and promised I could save a tidy sum - rather odd, seeing as I haven't encountered any issues with it. I informed her that the Sky subscription is under my wife's name, thus I shouldn't be the one receiving such details. She then insisted on chatting with my wife, to which I firmly declined and promptly ended the call. Quite baffling, really!

Got a call from this number, some Irish guy said I was a low risk Sky Protect customer with Domestic and General. He tried to sell me 3 years of cover for £150 and then asked for my bank info. I said no and then came across this site which pretty much proved my doubts right.

Got a call from a Scottish bloke saying he was from Sky’s engineering team, telling me I could get a cheaper rate since I hadn’t made a claim in the past year. I kept asking if he was really from Sky and he kept insisting he was. I told him I’d have to consider it. Sky usually only contact me by post, never phone. Not bothered, thanks.

I receive calls from this number on a daily basis. I'm fully aware they're not genuine, so I simply ignore them. They never bother to leave a message, which confirms they're of no significance and completely fraudulent.

Received a rather concerning phone call earlier today, dated 7th March 2017. My husband answered the phone, which is rather out of character for him as he typically avoids these situations. Like many others have stated, it seems to be nothing short of a scam. They were requesting a hefty sum of £150 from us. In a moment of weakness, my husband ended up providing his card details, but thankfully, he has swiftly cancelled the card now. Fingers crossed we've acted in time to prevent any foul play! Best, PB

I recently received a call from a woman named Orla, who claimed she could help me save money on my Sky package. She was quite persuasive, I must admit. However, it all fell apart for me when she stumbled over my name and affectionately referred to me as "darling" and "love"! That’s when it clicked - a scam! Be cautious, everyone. DO NOT share your card information!

I’ve just received a rather peculiar call from this lot regarding my satellite system and my D&G insurance. They claimed I’m supposedly a low-risk customer, but when I quizzed them on how they came by that information, they said it popped up on their system. I had to set them straight, as their claims simply don’t stack up. 1. I don’t even have Sky Protect! 2. It’s unnecessary for me since I’m employed by Sky. 3. Plus, my Sky Q gear comes with complimentary service calls anyway. I guess it’ll be interesting to see if they dare to ring me again!

I've been contacted by some dodgy salespeople requesting my bank information and trying to extract £150 for so-called insurance. They insinuate that since I haven’t made a claim on a non-existent policy, I qualify for a better deal, even if I don’t actually have a policy at all! It’s quite sinister how they leverage this to suggest I’ll end up forking out more on my current insurance if I don’t comply with their demands. Although I’m not easily fooled, I can imagine how others, who might be more vulnerable, could fall for such tactics. These sorts of scams definitely need to be nipped in the bud!

I was nearly swayed by their tempting offer of a reduced price on satellite insurance; I almost believed it was my lucky day! But then came the request for my bank information, and that raised a massive red flag! If I were indeed a policyholder, surely they'd already have those details on file!

Got a call earlier today from a bloke with a Scottish accent. I only picked up on the third ring because I was out before. He was trying to sell me a renewal for satellite receiver insurance for £50 a year, claiming it was a special offer. Then he mentioned some security checks which meant setting up a new direct debit or something like that, but I didn’t go along with it. I’ve never even had insurance on my satellite gear. Definitely sounds like a scam!

Got two calls from this number. The latest one was about my sky equipment insurance running out, but I don’t even have any. Then they offered insurance for £50 for three years. When I said I wanted to check with my husband first, the caller got really rude and asked why I’d need to discuss saving money. Then they just hung up on me. Definitely scammers. The first call was a posh sounding woman pushing for my bank info and sky password. I rang sky and they confirmed it’s a total scam.

Got a call from a woman speaking with a really posh English accent, quite different from the typical Asian scam calls. She said my Sky satellite cover was about to expire, but I don’t even have one. Surely she was fishing for my bank info - no way I’m giving that out. Tried ringing the number back but just got an answerphone telling me they’d ring again soon. These scammers really go to any length - complete con!
