Just like everyone else here, I got a call telling me I’d won a £1000 voucher for home stuff. I told them straight up, “Isn't cold calling banned?” then asked them to take me off their list. She didn’t seem too pleased about it. If you’ve got some free time, I’d say mess about with them and keep 'em on the phone for as long as you can!

Tried listening to some long story from DM Design about my kitchen and bathroom and some £1000 voucher nonsense. I kept trying to stop his endless rambling, but he just wouldn’t quit, so I ended up hanging up. Total rubbish if you ask me!

Honestly, I'd just say don't pick up unless the number is one you know already. These days, most smartphones come with some kind of feature that warns you if the call might be from a telemarketer or a scam. On mine, it actually showed up as "scam/telemarketer" right on the screen, which was pretty useful.

Someone rang me up asking for me, I said they’d got the wrong person and then they just hung up. Best just to block them, honestly.

Got a call today and they were asking for me by name, I said that wasn’t me. I reckoned I knew who it was though, asked if she was the one wearing that brown duffel coat. They just hung up after that. Love messing with these people, brightens up the day a bit. I’ve blocked the number now.

I got a call from someone pretending to be a major furniture brand. They told me i'd won £1000 off a kitchen or bedroom set because of a survey i'd supposedly done. Problem is, i'd never signed up for any survey. They even knew my postcode. Watch out for this one!
