Got a call the other day from what sounded like a woman’s recorded voice, with background chatter from an office. The call kept glitching, which made it clear it was a recording. It started asking questions about money stuff, and it wanted simple yes or no answers. It was really unsettling because it felt like you were talking to someone, but there was no real person there. I reckon this could be especially confusing for older folks. Honestly, all these telesales calls should be stopped altogether. If people want something, they’d look it up themselves - no need for these annoying interruptions on the phone.

Had this woman on the phone who just wouldn’t stop rambling, never gave me a chance to say anything. She had no clue she was messing with a former complaints department team lead, and a proper nosy Scouser at that! Gonna be reporting this number to the TPS, no doubt.

I got a call from this number earlier and assumed it was from Derby since I have mates there, so I picked up. A really nice woman said she was calling from CSC - which threw me off a bit because my lad works for CSC in Chorley, so I was a bit wary. Then she started asking if my bank account had insurance for phones and mobiles, which confused me a bit. I said no, and she quickly apologised and said she was ending the call. I wanted to find out exactly where she was calling from and kept saying “Don’t hang up,” but she cut off anyway. I tried calling back, but the call wouldn’t go through. Sounds like just another scam to me.
