This number 03332 029 689 keeps calling me but whenever I pick up, the person on the other end just hangs up straight away. It's happened multiple times now, really annoying!

This number rang me the other day, the automated voice was quite polite and said it was Scottish Gas. It told me to press 1, which I didn't do, and then went on asking me to submit a meter reading. We don’t have Scottish Gas as our provider and never have, so I reckon it’s either a cheeky sales tactic trying to snag new clients or possibly a scam. Either way, be cautious.
