I got two calls from this number, the second time they left a voicemail. The voice had a really thick Indian accent and honestly, I couldn’t catch a thing they were saying. Plus, the connection was awful. Felt like one of those dodgy scam call centres because the person didn’t even seem to know their own phone number. After that, there was a long pause and I swear I could hear another caller chatting in the background. Definitely just scammers - BLOCKED!

They call me every single day. I've put the number on block, but weirdly their calls still come through to my voicemail. What's odd is the supply address they mention is connected to me from years ago when I was a trustee for a charity, and back then there was a payment issue with British Gas. I’m employed at a big firm and this number has rung multiple times. When I picked up, the caller said they were calling on behalf of British Gas. They tried saying they were from British Gas, but as soon as we asked for details, they just cut the call.

This person on the phone spoke with a strong Indian accent and said they were calling from British Gas, but when I asked for the exact amount I owed, they just froze. They had no clue about my account number either, but kept pushing me to give it out, saying "we’ve got your account number, just need you to confirm it," which sounded fishy as hell. Honestly, don’t answer calls from this number - it’s definitely a scam.

Got a call from an Asian woman who kept pushing for my personal info. I asked if she could email me to confirm the call was legit, but she just said "I've made a note on your account goodbye" and hung up. Seems a bit fishy to me.

Got a call from an Asian lady claiming to be from British Gas, saying she wanted to talk to whoever handles the bills because we supposedly owe them cash. British Gas told me this is a scam and it's definitely not their number! Be careful and dont share any details with them!

03332029442 called me again earlier. The voice sounded Asian, and I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. I've already reported the number to the police. We should all do the same and help catch these scammers. Hopefully, this website will also pass the info to Action Fraud.

This number has been texting me loads over the past few months, claiming to be from British Gas Business. I blocked it before, but today I got a voicemail with a prerecorded message about a recent business energy bill. Thing is, I don’t run a business and I’ve never had gas connected! I got called three times in a row this week on three different days.

This number messaged me about an unpaid bill, and around the same time I got an email claiming to be from British Gas but it had no actual account details or anything about what was owed. We don’t have any British Gas account in our name. The message didn’t match any of our bills either. Plus, the phone only rang a few times before cutting off, not giving me a chance to pick up. Feels just like one of those standard call centre scams to me.

I picked up and a woman said she was calling for British Gas. The phone kept cutting out so I couldn’t make out what she was saying properly. She mentioned an invoice or something. I asked her to send me a letter instead. Then she just hung up. Seems pretty dodgy to me.
