5 yearsSomebody pretending to be from Vodaphone called my brother’s phone, saying we’d moved to pay as you go since he’d died. He was a roofer working for himself. When she asked for the company name, I told her my brother had passed and there was no need for a contract, the phone was now pay as you go. Instead of expressing sympathy, she just kept pushing with “are you self employed or do you have a business?” No condolences at all, just straight up trying to make a sale. I was absolutely stunned.Vodafone5 yearsTrying to get a phone contract from Companies House info, and it's the same daft lot who just have the bare minimum for a business deal. If anyone working at these rubbish firms actually enjoys getting shouted at, good luck to them. Just let me track down the MD and I’ll make sure everyone in the UK knows about it - maybe pay him a little visit as a bit of payback.Companies House5 yearsSome bloke rang up saying he could sort me out with a cheaper business mobile plan and just wouldn’t take no for an answer. In the end, I just hung up on him.5 yearsNo message on the answerphone. When I tried the number I got an automated reply saying that this number isn’t taking calls right now. These telemarketers shouldn’t be allowed to use numbers like this to bother and try to sell to people. Feels like BT is letting the scammers get away with it.BT5 yearsThis bloke was proper chatty and just wouldn't take no for an answer.5 yearsGo Connect keeps ringing up businesses even though they're signed up for the TPS list. After going through these reviews, and since I don’t have a full mobile contract just a sim-only plan, I reckon it could be someone from a mobile contract company trying to get in touch. I’m based in Sheffield.Sheffield5 yearsGot a call from this number again, second time in a few weeks. The bloke said he was from Go Connect and tried to sell me a better Vodafone deal. When they rang before, they pushed me to switch to O2, saying it was somehow part of Vodafone and had better signal where I live in Leeds. Total scammers!!!Go ConnectVodafoneLeeds5 yearsGot a call from this number about ten minutes back, saying they were from Vodafone and wanted to pitch me a better offer. They asked loads of questions that only Vodafone staff would know, but clearly didn’t. Then they kept pushing me towards switching to 02 because supposedly their coverage was better around here. Then came the classic "let me check with my manager" line - yeah, right. Ended the call straight away - total scam, no doubt.Vodafone5 yearsI would advise against picking up. This number keeps ringing me, claiming to be from "Go-Connect," and no matter how many times I block them, they just pop up again within a day or so with different digits. It's utterly infuriating!5 yearsSome bloke called himself my EE account manager, saying he could help save me some cash. But then he started asking loads of questions that surely he should already know if he was really from EE. When I mentioned it, he said it's because of data protection rules or something that stops him seeing all my info. He was pretty pushy and didn’t accept me saying no. After reading other reviews here, it looks like they might get you a good phone deal but do it by pretending they’re actually from EE, which feels really dodgy.EE5 yearsThis is definitely a scam, just ignore it and dont reply.5 yearsIm glad I picked up, they helped me cut down costs on my phone plan.
