I got some work done with this company over a decade ago, yet they still ring me up now and then. Even though my number’s on the TPS list, they keep at it. They keep switching the numbers they call from too. I tried choosing "refuse" which sort of helped for a bit until a new number popped up. They called this morning, my wife picked up, saw it was Everest, and handed me the phone. After what I told them, I don’t reckon they’ll bother again! Either way, I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from Everest the other day. Yeah, I’m well aware it’s the tallest peak on Earth and I’d love to trek it someday. Funny thing is, ages ago I bought some windows from a firm named Everest, and honestly, what a waste of money! The number showed up as 0161 218 6292, which is a Manchester area code. The caller spoke really badly English and told me I’d been in a car accident that wasn’t my fault. I told him to leave me alone since I’m unwell (I’m dealing with a brain tumour and cancer). Then he insisted I give him all the details, which I refused, warning I’d report his firm (Accident Helpdesk) to the Ombudsman and they’d face a hefty fine. He just laughed and said I should take it up with the Prime Minister! I told him he was being daft and he hung up. Definitely block both these numbers straight away!

I’ve never come across a worse company than Everest in all my 50 years of buying stuff. Back in 2009 they completely messed up fitting a bay window at my place. The two side windows they installed were a different size height-wise compared to the front ones, and they were so thick they thought they could just swap out the top side panels without touching the bottom ones - which would have left a massive 3.5cm gap letting in cold air! Everest, with the cost of their stuff, have the cheek to keep calling every week asking if we need more - windows, doors, conservatories, garage doors. No thanks, we’ve already fallen for that once and would never go with Everest again. The quality just isn’t up to scratch, sorry but it’s the honest truth.

Over the last few days I've had loads of random cold calls on both my home phone and mobile. I never picked up any of them because if they knew me, they would have left a message, right? I looked them up and turns out they were from Zenith, Everest, some telemarketers, an insurance place and a claims company! Honestly, these companies are such a pain, they need to just stop bothering me!

Got a call at 10:17 this morning. The bloke wanted to talk to me and verify my address. I asked who he was several times, but all he kept doing was asking me to confirm the address, so I just hung up. I’ve been registered with the TPS for nearly 20 years, but it doesn’t seem to stop these calls. I’m off to ico.org.uk now to file a complaint. That’s where everyone should be reporting these annoying calls.

This number kept calling me a couple of times. When I tried to call back but hid my caller ID, it turned ou to be some cold callers from Everest Home Improvements. It was just a recorded voice message with a phone number to ring if you want to talk to them. I've blocked the number on my phone now.

This number rang me at 7:35 in the morning. I assumed it was someone from my family so I got up and picked up. To my annoyance, it was Everest again, even though I’ve told them several times I’m not interested in their double glazing. I asked them to take my number off their list as the person they’re looking for no longer lives here! Then they had the cheek to ask “Well, what’s your name then?” I just hung up, but I’m sure the calls won’t stop. Does signing up with TPS actually help? Seems like it doesn’t at all.

Everest really have gone too far. I had some work done by them more than 20 years ago and once they get hold of your number, they just won't stop ringing. I've asked them to take me off their call list several times and they swear they will, but it never happens. Now they've gone beyond windows and doors - they’re doing drives, fitted kitchens, and now even artificial grass! So heads up everyone, that’s probably the next thing they’ll be pestering you about.
