This is definitely one of those fake car insurance scams where they say someone close to you has been in a crash. They often use names that sound legit like ‘road accident helpline’ or ‘accident investigation department’ to trick you. They just keep calling loads of people hoping to catch someone who’s recently been in an accident. These scammers have rung me for the 8th time today, and it’s really stressing me out. I told them straight away the first time to stop calling, but they just won’t take no for an answer. Total harassment and such a scam!
