I got an email with a dodgy image showing this number, and it was all about a supposed Lloyds Bank direct debit. Looks like another scam trying to trick you into giving away your bank info or hacking your computer. Definitely just some con artists up to no good.

I reckon sites like this one, plus those TV shows where white-hat hackers hack into scammers’ systems to stop bank frauds in real-time, are making these scam phone calls less common. Now, it feels like these fraudsters are moving over to emails instead. Emails are much easier to flag than phone numbers. All you gotta do is forward the suspicious email to '[email protected]'. Also, most email services have a ‘report’ option, usually tucked under the 3-dot menu in the top right corner of the message. Just hit that, press send, job done. Too easy!

Just got an email that looked like it was from Lloyds Bank, saying I needed to ring a number about a direct debit they claimed was set up in my name. Definitely a phishing scam, so don’t bother calling that number.

Got an email pretending to be from "Lloyds" about an overdraft issue, asking me to call back on this number if I didn’t make the transaction. Definitely looks fishy to me.
