Like others have said, I got an email claiming to be an invoice for a "Mac Mini" bought with Apple Pay - which I dont even use! It said the item was sent to a place more than 100 miles away from my home. The message told me not to respond directly and gave a phone number for “customer support.” The email looked pretty unprofessional and the VAT amount was wrong too, so I reckon this was a scam for sure.

This morning I got an email from a person saying they were with Apple. The invoice included a billing address that was nowhere near where I live, totally the other side of the country. There was a phone number on the email too, 0333 090 4875. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

I got this number from what seemed to be a dodgy invoice email about buying an Apple Mini. The email came to my inbox, but none of the billing info matched me and it claimed payment was made through Apple Pay, which I’ve never used. I just ended up deleting it. Seems like a trick to make you ring their “customer service” and get stung with expensive call charges. Watch out for this kind of scam!
