Beware of a scam where someone phones pretending to be from Currys, claiming they're working with Sky. They promise a £75 gift card if you sign up for broadband, but then ask for your card info on the call to “finalise the deal.” It’s obviously a trick to steal your details.

I've been getting a call from this number almost everyday. The first couple of times I answered and said “hello,” but no one replied and then they just hung up. Quite annoying really.

Picked up and it was an actual person on the other end, claiming to ring from Curry's working with Sky and Vodafone. I told them I wasn't interested and that I ain't got any contracts or stuff with those companies. Dunno if its some kind of scam or just a pushy sales call, but I went ahead and blocked the number anyway. This was their second time calling me in just two days.
