Someone rang me saying it was about my o2 account. I asked if they knew my name and they said no, but they just kept pushing their usual spiel. How could they be talking about my account if they didn’t even know who I was? (Also, I don’t even have an o2 account!) Pretty clear it was just a scam attempt.

I managed to get a word in after these calls from numbers ending the same way kept popping up. She claimed it was about lowering my EE charges, so I bluntly asked if she was really from EE. Once she confirmed it was, I told her not to bother ringing again and then ended the call.

I’ve gotten calls from three different numbers that all sound alike, but when you pick up, there’s just silence. The other two finish with 6580 and 6583, and the latest one ends in 6587. Wonder what that’s about?
