When I asked how he even got my number and where this grant application was, he dodged the question completely. I never applied for any grant, we just had new windows fitted and paid out of pocket. Definitely a dodgy call, best to ignore it.1 yearI don’t usually answer these calls but this time I did, and straight away some bloke who somehow knew my first name started going on about me supposedly applying for a grant to change my windows. I quickly told him he had the wrong info and hung up, making sure to block the number. Over the past month I've had six calls from 0333 053 numbers, but this was the only one I actually picked up.
