This number called me on Friday but I didn’t pick up, so I blocked it. Then today, I got another call from a different number but with the same area code. I didn’t answer that one either and blocked it as well. Honestly, if you don’t know the number, it’s best to just ignore and block. Stay safe everyone!

Today I got a call from someone claiming to be Mark from the lottery folks. At first, it sounded quite proper and he said I didn’t need to pay anything upfront for some heavily reduced lottery tickets for April. But as soon as I refused to hand over my sort code and banking details, he started pushing really hard. Looks like another dodgy scam to me - so watch out! Oddly enough, he did have my name, address, and phone number spot on.

I stopped picking up calls from numbers I don't recognise. Got a call from 03330504822, and apparently it's a scam number according to what I found online. Better safe than sorry!

Got a call from this number saying I’d won free lottery tickets or something like that. I told the person to take my number off their list, but they claimed I’d signed up for the free tickets, which I never did. When I denied it, they argued with me, said I was being rude and insisted I had requested them. Honestly, it annoyed me so much!

It’s ridiculous how little is done about these scam calls, you’d think with all the tech we have now we could fix this mess. We managed to get people onto the moon but dealing with stuff like this on EARTH is still such a nightmare. Proper shame really.

Had a chat with a really polite gentleman who spoke brilliant English for a bit, maybe 5 minutes. He was talking about some National Lottery lucky dip thingy, which apparently is only available to a select few and for just a short period. It all seemed quite genuine, but I couldn't quite understand why the National Lottery would be offering discounted tickets to specific people. Something felt off. In the end, I just said no thanks, very politely.

I’ve had this number ring me a few times claiming to be from the National Lottery. When I told them I was tied up and couldn't speak right then, the person on the other end got oddly rude. These nice sounding folks called me up offering to send 10 lottery tickets, and weirdly, they already knew my address. When I asked why they were being so generous and told them straight up that they sounded like scammers, they didn’t take that well at all! Please don't get fooled by any offers that seem too good to be true, especially when people are giving stuff for free. It’s obvious they just want to scam you and get your bank info. Stay alert!

Guys, this is a total lottery con. They say you get free tickets, then hit you up with a deal for 1,000 tickets at some crazy low price like 5p each. But then, guess what? They want your bank card info. Yeah right, no thanks! It’s just another sneaky rip-off. Honestly, people pulling these scams deserve some serious consequences.

I got a really weird phone call from someone claiming to be The National Lottery. They told me I’d won 10 free lottery tickets for a draw happening in two days and that they’d email them to me within 12 hours. Then they went on about an offer where I could buy more than a thousand lottery tickets over the next three months for just 5p each, instead of the normal £2. It all sounded dodgy to me, like they were after my bank information, so I politely said no thanks.

“Yeah, people chose to get these calls? Nah, not true at all. I had a ring and they didn’t even use my name, just the name on my phone contract - which isn’t even mine! I’ve never joined any online contests or prize draws, nor has the contract holder, and if they had, they’d defo put their own number down, not mine lol. Best of luck to those who gave away their address for those so-called “free lottery tickets” 😂🤦‍♂️”

It took a bit to get through when I picked up, and the person on the line claimed to be from "your lotto," offering me 10 free national lottery tickets. They asked if I could confirm my postcode as xxxxx. I told them I don't play the lottery, but they just said, "That's fine, they'll be posted to you shortly. Do you usually play the lottery?" I replied no again, and then they went on with, "Okay, can you tell me how many tickets you buy every day?" It all felt like an AI reading from a script and not getting the right answers based on what I said. Ended up just hanging up.

Honestly, these folks were legit, definitely not trying to scam me. They asked if I was interested in a lottery deal, I said no thanks, but they still gave me some free tickets anyway. It’s a pity loads of people here act like they know it all when really, they just don’t have a clue.
