He said he was from Visa and mentioned a dodgy transaction from about half an hour ago. I asked for a number to ring him back on, making sure it was real first. After looking it up here, I reckon I won’t be bothering to return the call.

Heads up! Got a call from some dodgy folks with Glaswegian accents pretending to be from the bank about a failed direct debit on my card. The first call came from a private number and somehow got past my call blocker, which was a bit sneaky. They gave me a number you see here, saying it was their ‘Fraud Department’ and told me to ring back. I checked the official bank number myself, and they said they never make calls like that. (They even knew my bank from the card number on the back).
