It claimed Lloyds Bank spotted a transaction on my debit card ending in 8626 at some place for £0.00, which was apparently declined. They asked me to reply YES if it was me, or NO if not. I replied NO, then they sent another message saying they'd call me between 8am and 9pm, and gave a number to ring outside those times. They warned that if I don’t talk to them, my card payments could be blocked. Surprisingly, they even knew the final four numbers on her card. We double-checked with Lloyds, who confirmed they hadn't made any calls and said the people ringing us were scammers.
