When I asked the caller to say their company name a few times, it was hard to catch what they said, but it definitely wasn’t Dukes. Sounds like an Indian call centre. I didn’t want to waste time so I just said I wouldn’t talk to them since I didn’t recognise the company. They claimed I’d submitted a form about some unpaid debt. I rang Dukes myself afterwards and sorted things out; they confirmed they don’t use any Indian call centres and didn’t know the number calling me. I told them I suspected a data breach somewhere. Now, I’m waiting to hear back from a manager - apparently within 48 business hours. If I don’t get a reply, I’ll be reporting this to Action Fraud and pushing it further.
