I received a call purporting to be from BT, but curiously enough, they weren't able to provide any emails or evidence with their branding. They seemed quite keen to ask about our telephone services and packages. The chap on the other end sounded knowledgeable and was rather affable, but I wasn't about to sign anything without due diligence on the initial chat. However, when he rang me back and I started to question him, he abruptly disconnected the call - definitely smells like a scam!

I received a call from someone purporting to be from BT, but they couldn't provide any official emails that displayed their branding. They were inquiring about our business phone services and packages. The representative came across as knowledgeable and was quite pleasant. However, I wasn’t ready to make any commitments during that initial conversation. When he rang me back and I confronted him about his legitimacy, he abruptly ended the call - definitely sounds like a scam to me!
