The Vault called me three times today, at 3.20, 3.40, and 3.43pm. They asked for Mrs D and said "I spoke to you yesterday about life insurance" (I'm not even married). Then they said they wanted to review it with me. I told them straight, "I've already said I'm not interested, please take my number off your list, thanks." Then I ended the call. Got a call from some life insurance company claiming I have a policy with them. Asked where they got my number from, and apparently I ticked a box on some survey ages ago. Was worried about what info they actually have on me, so the woman handed me over to a bloke who kept calling me by my first name and kept saying it was a ‘review’. He wanted to know what I'd do when my current policy ends at 60, but I told him that’s ages away and I’d deal with it then. Then he started rabbiting on about funeral costs and leaving money for my kids, obviously pushing their product. I told him I’ve already got a prepaid funeral plan and everyone’s sorted. He muttered something about wasting both our time. I told his colleague straight up I wasn’t interested in any new policies. Mostly, I was really bothered about what info they have on me and where from, even mentioned the data protection act. The call ended abruptly with no answers about their data source. Frustrating!
