This company, Simply Business, works with Compare the Market and GoCompare. When you use those sites to check out certain insurances, like landlord cover, you end up being sent to Simply Business. After getting quotes online, they tend to ring you loads, which can be a pain. To be fair, I couldn’t spot any way to opt out of their calls, but it was still irritating. This is the 4th call I’ve got today. I didn’t answer, but after reading the other comments, I think it might be connected to me using an insurance comparison website yesterday. Seems like those things are related.

Got a call even after I'd opted out of calls on some insurance comparison site. When I mentioned that, they still wanted my name and address to take me off their list - nope, not sharing any of that info. Much simpler to block their number and avoid that site from now on. Plus, their quotes were way higher, like twice what I pay for renewing my current insurance!

When I answered the last time, a bloke asked for my hubby's first name and when I said I could take a message, he just hung up. I did request a quote for public liability insurance not long ago, so I guess that's what’s causing these annoying calls.
