Dont fall for this scam. I got a call today from 03330155835 offering a deal on TalkTalk broadband, internet and phone for £29. Then they said my credit score was bad and I had to pay £25 straight away. Total rip off. I just ended the call quick.

I got a ring from this number today about switching broadband. Was about to sign up till the guy started asking for all my card details. Told him I’d get back after checking with my bank. Bank said it was fine at first, but when I phoned the broadband company on their official number, they said they never ask for the full card number plus the 3 digits on the back. Turns out it was a scam. Called my bank again, spoke to a different rep who blocked my card and is sending me a new one. Needless to say, I didn’t go ahead with the contract and now I’m changing banks!

stay clear of this con artist. they say they’re with some outfit called consumer choices, offering bargain broadband deals. (supposedly the absolute lowest price ever. only they have it, you won’t see it anywhere on talktalk’s site, and they’re happy to sort you out over the phone if you hand over your card info). no trace of their company online anywhere. don’t fall for it. they’ll clean out your bank in a flash.
