Just got a text from HSBC saying there’s been a £195.00 charge at Argos on 18th June 2025, asking if it was me. The message wanted me to reply with “Y” if it was me or ring 0333 012 0111 if I wasn’t sure or it wasn’t me. Bit worrying tbh, but good they’re checking up on unusual transactions.

Can definitely say this number isn’t real. They’re definitely not from HSBC, especially since they were quick to call me some nasty names and openly admit they’re con artists. If Martin and John happen to see this, I hope you both enjoy whatever awful place you’re heading to.
