I received a call earlier today.

Got two calls from this company tonight, first one at about 6.36pm. When I asked who they were, they dodged the question and said it was about some life insurance I’d supposedly just signed up for... no idea what they were on about. Then they claimed it was to do with a recent mortgage application - again, no chance. Clearly just fishing for info. I pressed them on why they were calling and who they were working for, and they said “all providers” - which is ridiculous. When I asked who my provider was, the answer was that they didn’t know! Shock, horror. I told them I was ex-directory, signed up to the TPS and demanded they take me off their list straight away. Less than an hour later, at 7.17pm, the same woman called again with the exact same nonsense. When I questioned her why, she repeated the same stories. I warned her I’d report them if they phoned again and then ended the call.
